Merry Christmas!!!

We have been SUPER busy getting ready for Christmas. Plus last week we made a quick trip to MA to celebrate Molly's first birthday. It was a really nice trip other than the fact that half of that state had lost their power in an ice storm a few days before we went so we had a really hard time finding a hotel room. Oh well, I am glad we went to see Molly turn one!

Lucy and I have been wrapping, decorating, cooking and cleaning fools. For some reason I have found myself very tired at the end of the day. :) I have been making my back very sore but I am getting a lot done. Fortunately I am going to physical therapy now and it is making a huge difference. I have excersises/stretches to do when I feel sore and they help.

The other reason I haven't blogged is because for the last three days I have been banned from entering the computer room. Dave went Christmas shopping and "hid" my presents in here (aka put all the presents on the futon and then closed the door). He is upstairs wrapping them now so I was finally allowed back in.

My cookies are baked and decorated, my presents are wrapped, my house is almost clean. I think I am just about ready for Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

All alone

Last night Lucy had her second ever sleepover. I am all alone now. :( Well, Dave is upstairs still sleeping like any normal person would be given this chance, but not me. I woke up and started thinking about all of the things I cold get done while Lucy wasn't here so I got up. Stupid me, is what I will be thinking later when I am sooo tired. :)

Anyway, Dave and I went to dinner and saw a play last night. I got to the theater and realized i couldn't even remember that last time I had been to a play (in high school I was the president of our drama club and was in all the plays). We saw A Christmas Story, it is based on the movie about the kid who wants a Red Rider BB Gun for Christmas. It was really good, the cast was very small and they used all local kids. before the show we ate dinner at the restaurant my brother works at. He has been working there for, oh, six months maybe more and it was the first time I went there, the good sister that I am.

Yesterday morning we took Lucy to see Santa. It went surprisingly well, I was afraid she wouldn't go near him but she did.

She was a little unsure but she was willing to sit on his lap.

She wanted Santa to give her her candy cane and orange so she could get of there. The candy cane was a big hit, surprise surprise. I told her to not to bite just lick it, so the whole way home she was holding out her tongue and rubbing the candy cane on it. We had walked there so her hand and face were frozen by the time we got home but she had enough sugar in her to not even notice.

These are some of Lucy's friends, Molly and James. They are a brother and sister who go to the Diner with their Grandma. The other day, while I wasn't there, James kissed Lucy right on the lips. He is a beautiful little boy so I guess that is okay, although Daddy was upset and very sad about it. ;)

I better got to some of my actual work now.

Sorry it's been so long!

I haven't posted much lately so I will try to make up for it now. My computer time has become very limited because Lucy thinks that she should get to type, play games, and use the computer herself. We decided she needed to be completely cut off for a while, I even have to shut the door to the computer room or else I will find her in here climbing up and pushing buttons.

So, she gets into everything now and I find myself tired/frustrated by the end of the day. Today I am almost canceled the Christmas tree, which we went out in the bitter cold to get and where in the process of decorating. She is just so dang "helpful" these days! :/ She really is a big help to me, she will take things to other rooms for me and she will even put a few things away if I don't ask for too much. The bigger I get the more I try to push it. :)

We have been pretty busy lately so I have lots of pictures and videos.

This is Trolley Day, more widely known as Black Friday. Lucy had a little jealously thing going. The more Molly is here and she has to share Oma the better!

We entered our town's first gingerbread house contest. I hope it becomes an annual event because it was a ton of fun. Lucy helped lots with the making of the gingerbread. By the time we were done there was flour EVERY WHERE!!!! Lucy was so helpful that we decided to assemble and decorate our house after she went to bed. :)

Today was the showing an judging of the gingerbread houses. This picture of our house isn't very good but it seems I forgot to take more pictures once I saw all the other houses. There were a couple of barns with animals, a replica of the country club and the town hall, and just some other cool houses.

Our house will be on display at the VFW until Dec. 22nd if you are in town and want to check it out.

This is Oma and Grandpa's entry. It is a carousel with candy cane posts and reindeer to ride.

I wrote a quick post the other day about going to the bounce house place. It was a ton of fun!!!!! I would definitely go back many more times!

This is the entrance to one of the houses that had a tiny climbing wall in it and then a ladder and a slide to get out.

This afternoon we went to get our Christmas tree. Lucy fell asleep on the way there and didn't want to wake up even in the bitter cold. (It was about 20 degrees out plus high winds, brrr!)

Our little angel. She did wake up when she heard the tractor start up, could she be any more her father's girl?

Here she is helping some more. Both girls wanted to help Daddy stand up the tree (Mae is behind Dave sticking her nose in).

We got the tree up, the lights on and some ornaments hung. We will try to do more tomorrow I guess. Lucy and I were both having melt downs so we quit for the night. (Did I mention that we didn't have naps today?)

I will post a couple of videos now. The rest I will try to get up on YouTube soon.

This is from early in the day today. She is such a goofball!

Anyone who is familiar with Dr. Suess's ABC should be able to pick out at least some of the parts from this video. We read this book a lot! (In case you can't tell, she is "reading" this book to me. And getting it right too I met add, the smart little monkey! :) )

This is the video to go with the picture of Lucy helping make gingerbread. She had been watching Daddy flour the counter before he rolled out the dough.

I hope this makes up for my not posting in a while. I will try to be better but I probably won't be. :) I seem to be getting tired out easily these days. (Two and a half months to go!)

A Quickie

This morning Lucy and I were hanging on the couch and she told me she was a super girl! She is great!!! She talks so much! She is a big copy-cat faze, anything you do or say she does, a little scary!

I had a midwife appointment Tuesday. Not much to report, all is well and according to the ultrasound I had a few weeks ago baby brother is only in the 52 percentile. Not so big!

That is all I have time to write for now because Lucy and I are going on an adventure this morning! We are going, with playgroup, to check out a brand new business near here. It is a place full of bounce houses!!!! It sounds like tons of fun. I will report back on it later. See ya! :)

Cousin Fun

Molly is here to visit!!! She has grown up so much since I last saw her! (Jim and Julie are here too. :) ) This afternoon us girls (Oma, Aunt Julie, Molly, Lucy and I) went to the Museum of Play. We had a great time!

Molly thought these blocks were hilarious.

I think Oma was having fun too.

Lucy has been into helping Daddy so she really liked the tool bench and tools. She was a bit worried about the "sharps", the saws, because she knows she isn't supposed to touch them. I explained that they were pretend saws so it was okay to touch these ones.

Here is Molly coming after me- walking! She kept wanting me to walk with her or hold her. I am a huge fan of kids who like me! :)

3 Milestones then Pics and Video

Three new milestones for Lucy this week. First, She has started referring to herself as me. If you ask her something like "who is Lucy" she will point to herself and answer "me". She doesn't do it all of the time but I was pretty impressed with her! Second, she can jump now. For a few weeks she has been bouncing up and down and saying jump, but she can now actually get her feet of the ground. She almost fell over yesterday when her feet came back down but she is getting the hang of it. Third, and I don't know if this is really a milestone but Dave is super excited about it, Lucy can go to the fridge open the door and get a beer out for Daddy! This might be the most exciting thing she has ever done in his eyes. :)

Anyway, on to the pictures which is what you really came here for.

This is our ultrasound picture from last week. I never had such a clear picture of Lucy. It was very exciting to see him!

Lucy's "first" time playing in the snow. (Once last year I got the two of us all bundled up to play and as soon as I put her down in the snow she started crying. Needless to say I didn't bother with that again last year.)

Last Wednesday Granny took to Chuck E. Cheese for Dave's birthday dinner. :) We had a ton of fun. This picture is Lucy an Kim being mesmerized by the singing anamatronic Chuck E.

Lucy of course dragged Granny all over the place. They both loved it!

The weather outside is frightful...

I am feeling pretty accomplished; I got Lucy's big Christmas gift already! She is getting a play kitchen and while we were shopping at BJs for other things on Thursday they happened to have a nice one so I bought it. Of course that spontaneous buy didn't happen to fit in my car. :( doh! The people very kindly (a.k.a. without making fun of me) put it on hold for me and I went back yesterday to pick it up with Evie's car. Better yet, I went back yesterday in Evie's car without Lucy! She stayed home with Evie so I made a couple of stops and even got my eyebrows done and bangs trimmed!!!!!

As for the title of this post, we have been having near record cold this week. It has been staying int he 20s and low 30s while normally this time of year it is in the 40s. brrr! It has also snowed almost every day this week. They are predicted more snow all this coming week too. Again brrr! You would think I still lived in the Adirondacks. I have a video of Lucy playing in the snow that I will try to put up later. Right now Dave is getting ready to leave to go hunting so I am off to try to entertain Lucy. I am not used to this super early morning thing! :(

A Good Day

We just got back from the midwife's and an ultrasound. Everything is looking good! We got to see the baby's face during the ultrasound, it was so cool! We must not have had an ultrasound this late with Lucy because we never got to see such a clear picture of her. We watched him open and close his mouth! They said he is about 2 pounds now which a little big but not huge so that is a relief. My weight and blood pressure were great today and the results of my early diabetes screening were normal. So everything is great!!! My next appointment is in two weeks, we have moved up to two week appointments instead of monthlies!

That is the good. The bad is I have to go get a maternity support belt and I am going to start physical therapy for my sciatica. I guess that is good really it should help me feel better but I have a feeling the support belt is less than attractive, at least it goes under my clothes. :) In other bad news, Lucy is having sleep issues, again. Tonight we will be sleep training, again. She was coming with us around 5am and falling back asleep which was fie but she started crying to come in earlier and earlier. Dave and i decided the only way to stop this is to not let her come in with us at all. Starting tonight/tomorrow am we will not be going in to her until at least 5am and at that point we will be getting up for the day. Expect a tired, cranky bunch if you see us in the next few days. I want to take a nap now but Lucy is not yet asleep and I can't seem to settle down and stop thinking about the things that need doing. With Christmas approaching and my belly getting bigger and bigger I feel in a rush to get holiday things finished.

On that note, I better get to work while I can. I have a bunch of computer stuff to do and since Lucy thinks it should always be time for computer games I need to do it while she is upstairs in bed. Keep your fingers crossed that she goes to sleep!

Wow!

Look at that stork! Tomorrow will be only 100 days left!!!!!!! I better get with it and start getting things ready for him huh?

A Funny Story

On Monday afternoon, Lucy and I decided to bake some corn bread. I got everything out and we started to put the ingredients together. I told her "we need to find the 1/4 cup". Lucy bent over the basket I keep the measuring cups in so I bent over to look in the basket with her, at that exact moment she pulls out a measuring cup, a metal measuring cup, and that little girl is stronger than you think. So yes, she clocked me in the nose with the metal measuring cup. I just got home from the doctor's office which is where I went to find out if my nose is broken. Good news, it's not, it is just a bit swollen and sore.

That is my funny story for today. I have a slightly swollen, bruised, sore nose.

A Perfect Sunday Afternoon

We took a nap:

Then we did some cooking:

Lucy helps like I do; we are best at supervising. :) She picked a measuring cup out and decided she wanted to have some milk in it. She is so cute! Recently she has started pretending. Before he asked for milk in her measuring cup she was pretend drinking out of it. She also likes to feed her dolls and she has actual "conversations" when she pretend talks on the phone. When there is a real voice on the other end she still tends to clam up.

She also talks about people when they aren't around, I like to see her remembering. She talks a lot about Grandma, BobBob, Molly, Uncle Jim, Aunt Julie, Big Dee, Linda, Pam, and of course Kim and Oma. She wants to call these people constantly, and she always asks me if they will be at the Diner. By the way, if someone isn't at our house our with us at a particular moment they are at work. Lucy knows a lot of hard working people and I think she thinks they all work at the Oil Company just like Daddy, Kim, Oma and Grandpa do. Really a good portion of the people she knows work at the Oil Company, so therefore that is where everyone works right?

I weighed Lucy yesterday and she still weighs 20.5 pounds. She really feels like a lot more than that!!! Plus she eats nonstop so I was surprised she hasn't gained any weight. I was complaining about our grocery bill this morning and Dave reminded me that soon we will have another mouth to feed. I however reminded him that for the first 6 months give or take, the baby's food won't cost anything, yeah for breastfeeding!!

In other baby news I don't have much to report. My pottery friends, who hadn't seen me for two weeks, said I am definitely getting bigger. Which is the same thing Aunt Joyce said yesterday, Aunt Pam just stared at my giant belly. :) Baby Brother is definitely growing and getting stronger, Dave can feel him sometimes now. One really weird feeling thing I had forgotten about but was reminded of this week, once the baby gets a bit bigger (like now) you can feel him jump, or do a jig or whatever it is he is doing in there, right directly on my bladder. A very weird, not painful but certainly not good feeling.

Oh, my belly button is getting shallower, I am thinking it will probably pop out this time since I am so big and I still have a little over 3 months to go. I am rather nervous about that, belly button that is. :) Also, my sciatica is really acting up. I could barely move on Friday because on Thursday i had done some yard work and then went to pottery class and threw a few things (when you throw you sit at a low stool and bend over the potter's wheel). So I guess I am done with most yard work (yeah!) and with throwing at pottery. :( At least I can still work at a table and hand build, I would be very depressed to have to give up pottery.

I have written a lot, I hope that makes up for the gap since my last post!

I did it!

I finished the rug for the baby's room!

I am so excited about it! This is a lucky baby, I never made anything for Lucy while I was pregnant. Well, I tried to make her a sweater but it did not work out. :)

Because I had the camera out Lucy had to have her picture taken too. I tried to take my picture quick but she sensed photos be taken and came running.

Thank you Aunt Grace for teaching me how to make the rug and thank you Aunt Linda for giving me the canvas to make it on! I know I said this before but rug hooking is the best craft ever! This rug was so quick and easy to make! Thank you aunties!

Trick-or-Treating

We trick and treated our way around town last night. We had a great time, Lucy and I both crashed as soon as we got home. We went to a total of 5 houses and were out for about 3 hours.

First we went to Granny's house. Lucy was a little scared of Granny in the dark with the hat on. Once the lights were on and she was sure it was Granny she was fine.

A picture if me in my costume. I wore Granny's hat for most the of the night because my horns fell off. I was just too good for them. ;)

Daddy even got into the Halloween spirit and wore Granny's hat for a bit.

Next we went to Oma and Grandpa's house.

Then to the Hansen's. Aunt Linda gave Lucy a Magna Doodle which she loves! She likes to scribble something, or have you scribble something, then slide the thing across to erase it. You can't see Lucy's face in this picture but that is kind of why i like it. her hat was a bit big for her so most of the night you couldn't see her face and when she looked up it would fall off.

Lucy thought the girls were sooo funny. She kept fake laughing at them to make them laugh.

Next we were on to Ganny and Poppa's house. Lucy kindly let Ganny try on her hat.

Then she made both of them play matchbox cars with her. Here is a picture of her playing with Poppa.

Last we stopped around the corner from our house to visit Ganny's friend Harriet and Harriet's daughter Darlene. I forgot to take my camera in there. :( Lucy finally said "trick-or-treat" to Harriet and Darlene. All night she would say it over and over int he car but stay mum when we got to someone's house. I couldn't even get her to say it on camera. :( She was saying "Happy ween" too!

Once we got home we all changed into jammies and hung out for a little bit to let Lucy unwind before bed. Once she went to bed she went right to sleep and I fell asleep while Dave was putting her to bed. Trick-or-treating is hard work!

Today Dave had to work so Lucy and I invited ourselves along to a craft fair with the Aunties. It was a really good fair too! They had a combination of antiques and crafts. I got this hideously awesome turkey platter for Dave.

It sure is something isn't it?!?!? I am actually excited to take down the Halloween decorations so that I can find a prominent spot to display that thing! I am really enjoying Dave's attraction to really ugly fowl decorations, so much so that he has cut me off from buying him any more unless they are really really ugly, like this tray. :)

I think the rest of tonight and tomorrow will be spent chilling at home and maybe grocery shopping.

Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

Somewhat surprisingly, Lucy happily put on her costume this morning. She wore it to the office and the Diner. Tonight we will be doing a wee bit of trick-o-treating.

My Daughter is a genius...

(Yes that is the dictionary she is reading!)

Then again, maybe she isn't...

She is the cutest darn thing! Lucy's vocabulary and pronunciation improve daily; today she decided that she can clearly say "eat" instead of the whiny "eee" she was saying. The biggest accomplishment is that she can now correctly identify some of her colors! If you ask her what color something is she is usually wrong but if she points to something and tells you what color it is on her own she gets it right a good amount of the time. She is also really into being "helpful". She puts things in the garbage herself, she wants to fold and put away clothes, she wants to carry things herself, etc. More helpfully though she has started helping pick up her toys! just a little bit of course but its a start.
That's it from me for now, I want to go watch Barack's infomercial!

It's over and my video is now done loading so I can post this. I don't want to get into politics but I have to say he is a much better speaker than our current president. I don't think he said "uh" or "um" once and I don't think he mispronounced a single word!

Latest Appointment

Tuesday I went to the midwife, so here is the update. :) My uterus is measuring about 2 and a half weeks ahead, my blood pressure was a little on the high side for a preggo (darn kid has me craving salty stuff!), and I gained a ton of weight since my last visit. :( About my weight the midwife said everyone has a growth spurt at some point during their pregnancy, and I totally believe her!!! :P Also, they said that because Lucy was on the bigger side and had trouble getting out of me, that puts me at a higher risk for developing gestational diabetes. They wanted me to get tested now, and the normal time later, for it so yesterday I had to drink the stuff and then go get my blood drawn. No biggie, just not the most fun thing in the world to do. The stuff you have to chug down before you get your blood drawn tastes exactly the orange Hi-C they have at McDonalds. I am a little worried that this diabetes thing is going to mean I can't eat any Christmas cookies and that it is going to make me grow a gianormus baby! They are already talking about my having another ultrasound close to my due date to see just how big he is. Yikes!

Speaking of ultrasounds, we get to go have another one on Nov. 18th. They didn't get a clear picture of one side of his face and one side of his heart (he was sleeping and wouldn't roll over during the last ultrasound). So I am pretty excited to get an extra chance to look at him!

I just scrubbed the kitchen and now my back is killing me so I am going to lay down on the couch for a bit while Lucy is still napping.

I Accomplished Something...

for a change. Yesterday I cleaned (most) of the house and put up my Halloween decorations. Today I uploaded pictures and videos! There are now 3 months worth of new pictures at My Pictures and 15 new videos on My Videos! Some of these pics and videos I have posted on here but there are lots you haven't seen. I have also been working on my rug. It is almost a third done already!!! I will post a picture of it as soon as it is done.

Lucy and I did some laundry too. Yesterday I paid for all the work I did, my back was killing me by noon! I spent most of the rest of the day on the couch. :( Other than my back I am feeling good though! My back only hurt so much because I did too much. My belly is getting very big and Baby Brother is starting to move around a lot. Dave can't wait to feel him moving, I was surprised that he couldn't feel a couple of the kicks the other day!

What's new with Lucy? She's becoming more and more toddler like. She is bossy and throws fits more often now. She is still very easy going overall but she is definitely showing what she wants. Very luckily for us she talks so much. She has a huge vocabulary which really helps cut back on the tantrums because she can get across what it is that she wants without getting too frustrated. She has also become very helpful lately. You can ask her to go get you things or take something to Daddy. She helps put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher. She takes the plates and bowls out and hands them to you! Very cute!!! She also helps me do the laundry. I give her socks, washcloths and underwear to "fold", that was great until last week when she started trying to put my underwear on instead of putting them in the basket. :) She is also very good at putting the clean stuff from the washer into the dryer which is great because as my belly gets bigger that gets harder for me to do. ;)

That is all I can think of for now. Make sure you look at the new pictures and videos!

Home Alone

I am home alone right now! I don't know what to do with myself. Do I get some work done that I can't do with Lucy or do I relax and do nothing? It is such a tough choice. NOT!!! I am going to go watch a movie I want and work on my rug. (Lucy and I spent the day at Aunt Grace's on Thursday and I learned how to hook. It is great!! Best craft ever! It is really simple to do and makes a beautiful piece- I hope.)

What we've been up to

Lucy and I have been keeping busy for a change. (We usually spend a lot of time sitting around not doing much. :) )

On Saturday Oma and Granny took Lucy to Aunt Louise's house. They told me they were going to help Aunt Weeze work in the garden, but instead they took Lucy out and spoiled her, big surprise! They went to a pumpkin farm that had a petting zoo, a hay ride, and a big play area filled with corn. The corn thing sounds weird but apparently Lucy loved it.

She had corn everywhere when she got home. Every few minutes a little more would pour out from some where.

While they were at the farm, Dave and I had some grown-up fun! (Not that fun!;)) We went with Ben and Melissa to the Custom Brewcrafters Fall Festival of Ales. It was a surprisingly good time for a pregnant lady! I got to be d.d., they got this nice little glasses which they drank about a hundred beer samples in. Okay, not a hundred but there were a lot of kinds of beer to try.

Today Lucy and I met Melissa and Haley at Party City to buy Halloween costumes. Lucy is going to be a devil, Haley is going to be a cute pink doggy. I am glad Lucy doesn't have an opinion on her costume yet! I bought her a head band with horns, a tail and a pitchfork. I still have to get her a red sweat suit, I am going for simplicity this year!

After costume shopping we went to Chuck E. Cheese! It was a ton of fun, especially since it was a weekday and the place was fairly empty.

The girls had a ton of fun playing together and Melissa and I had fun hanging out, something we don't get do much anymore.

It is so nice to take Lucy somewhere now that she is a toddler and can actually do things. There was a part for toddlers that was fenced off from the rest of the place and we could let Lucy and Haley run around in there. I didn't have to follow a step behind Lucy all the time like I used, I could actually sit nearby and enjoy myself too.

They had this silly thing there that was a phone and if you put a token in you could "call" Chuck E. Very boring but it was, of course, Lucy's favorite thing.

The girls ended up winning enough tickets to each get a little prize. Neither girl cried or had a single break down, so I say it was a huge success!

Tomorrow Lucy and I are going to our first play group meeting! There is a national group called Moms Club and they just started a new chapter out here. I had been meaning to find out about it but didn't do anything until last week when I finally emailed them. Well, they emailed me back today and they are having a meeting tomorrow. Lucy and I really need to get out and meet other little kids and stay-at-home moms. I am often teased because the only other stay-at-home moms I know, are either a bit older than me (Aunt Linda and Grandma) or they live really far away (Julie and Tessa). :) Making new friends is hard. I am excited to go but wish us luck.

On Thursday we are going to Aunt Grace's house so that she can teach me how to hook! I am going to hook a rug for Little Brother's room. We went to JoAnn's and bought fabric today. I am excited to be starting a project, I haven't made anything in a while.

So that is what we have been up to and will be up to for the next few days. Now, I have to go make dinner because Dave isn't here yet to do it for me. :)

KIM!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kim!!!!

YIKES!!!

Yikes #1: Look at that stork!!!!!!! He is past the halfway!!!! I feel yeah and yikes. On the one hand I am glad to be half way there and I can't wait to meet this little guy. but on the other hand i am so not ready! How in the world do you take care of two kids at once? Some days I can barely manage Lucy! I guess they will just entertain each other right? ;)

Yikes #2: This is best described in a picture.

Yesterday we went to BJs and they had this really good deal, so...I bought a potty seat. YIKES!!!!!! We definitely are not ready for it yet but I figured it was better to have one when she does show an interest than not have one right? Plus my friend Melissa told me that her pediatrician told them they should have started potty training at 18 months, so I've been thinking about it some. I think her doc probably meant that they should have introduced the potty seat then, before Haley become a full blown, set in her ways toddler. (Happily for all of them Haley is a potty training success story even without having started so young!) So I bought a potty seat. Lucy likes to go with me when I go in their anyway, now she has somewhere to sit. :)

Yikes #3: Also best described by a photo.

This is my pregnancy present!!!! It is a yikes because, boy have my priorities changed! When I was pregnant with Lucy, Dave surprised me with a necklace and matching earrings, this time he surprised me with a garage door opener. I think I like this present better, I'll get more use out of it that is for sure! :) We have lived at this house for 6 years and I never imagined I would get to park in the garage. The car barely fits, you have to let the passenger side people out before you pull in, but hey I am parking inside this winter!!!!

The Wedding

The wedding was great! Lucy was well behaved the whole time, and we all had lots of fun! We are completely exhausted now and will be spending the next few days recovering.

Lucy getting ready for the wedding.

The beautiful flower girls.

The wedding kiss.

The flower girls with their aunt and uncle.

The wedding party again. It was only in the 50s, us girls were freezing!

This is Emily, my cousin Marshall's daughter. She called me princess all day and is now my most favorite relative! :)

A beautiful little flower girl holding her bouquet.

My parents with the bride and groom.

The bride with the groomsmen.

The whole wedding party with the parents.

The bridesmaids with the groom.

Me and my brother.

The centerpieces were these balloons. I thought they were very different and cool. There were bunches hanging over the dance floor too.

Dave got Lucy to fall asleep after dinner. She slept for about an hour or so.

She was so sweet and snuggly!

Lucy and her Grandma.

The reception ended shortly after this last picture was taken. We then went back to the hotel where my parents threw a party in their room. Lucy was raring to go after her nap at the reception. I let her stay up until about 1:30, at which point I was ready for bed. It took her about another half hour to settle down and fall asleep. We slept until 8:00, so we got six hours, we have done more on less, but we are all still feeling it today. plus on Friday I got a sore throat which progressed into a full head cold. On Sunday I was dying! Lucky for me Dave is so awesome. Once we got home (we stayed at the hotel), he let me take a bath and go to bed for awhile. He is the best!

All in all it was a great wedding. Congrats Rick and Gina!
