More about allergies

Up until 20 minutes ago Henry's allergies were more of an annoyance than anything else. However he just broke out in hives after eating some home fries at the Diner. Hives are a different type of reaction than eczema is. Hives can progress, hives can turn into a scary medical emergency type of reaction. Was it the cleaner they used, or more likely because it is the Diner, the lack of cleaner? Was it cross-contamination in the kitchen? Did someone have peanut butter on their hands and touch him? How can I figure it out?

A quick update to go with this. On Sunday night the doctor called us (have I mentioned how great she is?) because she had gotten back some of his blood test results. Long story short we have an appointment to see an allergist on May 31st and we are on the wait list to go sooner if someone cancels.

We are almost out of diapers so I have to go shopping now. I will try to post more about the allergy test results later. I had to write about the hives, hives are a game changer.
