Merry Christmas!!!!!! Freddy is having a great first Christmas despite his arm. Lucy loves the doll Santa brought her.

Freddy is doing pretty well today. He slept much better than I thought he would last night. The hard part is keeping him from trying to crawl. I think my arm just might fall off, he is heavy!!! I can't put him down for more than a second because he will try to crawl. It is like having a colicky infant but heavier. :/

Freddy will be celebrating his first Christmas with a broken collar bone. :( He fell of the changing table this morning even though I was standing right next to it. We took him to the emergency room where they x-rayed him and his bone is snapped very neatly right in the middle. He has to wear a sling\be wrapped in an ace bandage for the next 2-3 weeks. :( We are supposed to see an orthopedist next week. I am waiting for his pediatrician to call me back with her recomendation of what to do and who to take him to.

That is ASPARAGUS he is going nuts for! He also loves swiss chard. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time that I say this, boys are weird!

Well I was worried that becauwe they went to bed so early last night, maybe they were getting sick. As you can see here they are both their normal silly selves this morning. I guess Lucy was just really overtired, she slept 13 hours! Freddy didnt do as well I think he is getting another tooth. They are both ready for a big day of cookie making with their grandmas, and I am ready to go shopping!

It is 6:20 and both my kids are in bed asleep already! I am too weirded out to be excited. I have more than enough to do to fill the time, but they are asleep? both of them? I am rather nervous about how the night, more specifically the very early morning will go.

More importantly though...

Can I get an elf?

If not an elf maybe a maid? Yeah, a maid would be better. There is of course lots to do but I would rather be on the computer. Well, I would rather be making the cute Christmas decorations I just saw patterns for but, alas, I have no time for frivolity. :) I have three fun Christmas gift projects working now, well sitting because I am on the computer.

Anywho... Freddy is feeling much better, thank goodness! He is still a bit raspy but I think that is just all of the cold stuff breaking up and clearing out. He took the last dose of antibiotic tonight, and has two more days of prednisone left. He has not needed a breathing treatment since Tuesday morning and I hope I never have to give him another one ever!!

I got a bunch of shopping done, and many crafts are at least planned out in my head. :) Yesterday morning was the best ever! While Freddy was napping Lucy and I both worked on Christmas projects and listened to Christmas music. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have been beside our tree. That is on the agenda for this weekend and we are supposed to get some snow for the occasion. Also on this weekend's agenda is open house at pottery, make our gingerbread house, go to the gingerbread open house, and go to Haley's birthday party (she will be 4!!!!! I can't believe how fast time flies). Plus craft craft craft and hopefully wrap wrap wrap! :)

I had better take care of my banking and bill paying now. Better yet I should get to bed and do bills in the morning after a cup of coffee or two. :)
