Last day of being 4!

First, for real, formal riding lesson for Lucy. She had a lesson from a friend of a friend before but due to scheduling problems that didn't work out. Hopefully this time it will be a good match!

Lucy loves the new outfit Granny made for Annabelle! Plus she finally wanted a picture of her latest lost tooth on the blog. Can you see the gap on top?

This is how we ended February break. We were using the salter to spread pasture grass seed in the back big cattle pasture. When the snow melts it lays the seed on the ground and waters it for us. A cold end to the vacation.

Big Adevnture

Tomorrow evening Lucy and I leave on our first ever mom and daughter vacation! We are flying to Georgia to visit Grandma for a few days. (Poor BobBob had to fly back home because his temp job at the power plant called him in early.) I have not been on a plane since long before Lucy was born and Lucy has never been on one, so this is going to be big. Our suitcases are all packed and I think we are ready. Last night I realized that the limits in baggage from the airline actually make it easier; normally I pack for every possibility but I just can't do that this time. We weighed the suitcases last night and mine and Lucy's weighed the same!

I hope nothing to crazy happens at the farm so Dave can an easy and fun week with the boys.

Today was Lucy's turn to go out with friends. It was the girl scout sock hop which had an ocean theme, so they are wearing hula skirts.

Fred and I went out to lunch with his besties, Becca and Margot. He was in heaven.

Lucy brought this home from school. I love it!

The giant TV tuned to the Disney Channel really helps the kids be brave at the eye doctor's. Today is Henry's turn, just to make sure his eyes are growing correctly.

The boys are camping out in the living room tonight. I am sleeping in my soft bed and Lucy is sleeping over with Molly at Oma and Grandpa's (Lucy is recovered from the long fever).
