Happy Birthday Party Henry!

Freddy wins the Big Brother Award for today. I was in the kitchen doing dishes amd he came out and said "Henry is on the doll house table.". I said I would be right there but I did not take the "on the table" part literally. My mistake!!!! 

Henry really was ON the table! He must have climbed up from the chair Lucy (the shorty) uses to reach the third story of her house. He was super proud of himself. That kid is an evil genious!

Introducing my newborn nephew Jameson David! He was born at 5:11 this morning, two weeks early but still weighing in at 7lbs 12oz! Congratulations Rick and Gina! And a special congratulations to Big Brother Noah!!

Today for science camp we went on a field trip to the Zoo with our friend Max. The Zoo is super packed today and it is hot out so I would not say that this has been our best visit ever but no one has thrown a tantrum or collapsed sobbing so I would count it is a success. 

This week we are having a science camp here at home because that is this week's theme at preschool camp (and I couldn't send them both for another week of camp). This morning we did a couple of baking soda and vinegar experiments. The pans on the left I had put a layer of baking soda in and the the kids used eye droppers to drip food colored vinegar on it. That kept Freddy entertained for a good 20 minutes and Lucy happy for twice as long. 

On the right is the pan of sponge candy I made while the kids watched (way too hot for them to help with). It was exciting to watch the pan of sugar grow into a huge foamy pile. All three of us can't wait for it to cool so we can taste it!

Freddy has started to look so much older. :/ I can't believe he will be starting preschool in a little over a month!
