Woody came home!!! It was a surprise. Lucy is totally in love!

It is 5:40pm and they are both asleep. We may have partied too much this weekend. :)
BTW- Lucy is sleeping on the floor because I tried to wake her up but she squirmed off my lap, laid down on the floor and fell back to sleep. They have both been asleep for more than 2 hours so I guess we will be staying up late tonight. Father's Day late night partying at our house!

Dave rented an excavator for the weekend! I hope the quality of this video is good enough so you can see the beautiful view we have up here at The Homestead (as I am now calling it). :)
We are having a cookout and campfire up here tomorrow night to celebrate our house hole. ;) If you are in our neck of the woods stop by! If you are coming for dinner bring a dish to pass otherwise just bring yourself a chair. See you tomorrow!

Just a little bit more wool. ;D Yesterday the very wonderful Joanna from Lollypop Farm called and asked if I wanted some more wool (she gave me 3 bags when we adopted the sheep). She said the llamas had just been sheared and I could have that and all the rest of the sheep wool too if I wanted it. I quickly called Julie to make sure I had backup so Dave couldn't kill me.Then, with Julie's enthusiatic yes the kids and I drove over there this morning. You should have seen me shoving those bags into the car! :)

This will definetly be an adventure. It is from llamas. It looks a lot like human hair and it is starting to weird me out a bit. :)
