Happy Birthday Prince Charming!!!!!!!!

Freddy got to celebrate his birthday at school today. He was extra lucky because the ZooMobile came to visit. This gigantic bunny is named Edward, he is my favorite of the Zoo's visiting animals. This was Freddy's first day at school in more than 2 weeks due to illness and vacation. He is pretty tired, so cross your fingers for me that he takes a little nap this afternoon. ;)

The kids are taking advantage of the big pile of packed boxes and using it as a mountain for their stuffed animals. The red stuffed animal is Santa and I just heard Lucy make him say "You are on the naughty list! I am only bringing you coal and toast." I was laughing so hard, toast?!?

Rug Love

The more I look at Lucy's rug the more I love it! I really want to make an even bigger one for the living room. So, as you spring clean this year think of me and save me your old t-shirts please!!! Stains are okay because I will probably be dying them, and small rips can be cut around. Thank you!!!!

The allergy free Oreos I just made are being met with full approval.

It is done!!!!! After many months, I just finally finished Lucy's rug for her new bedroom! I love it and so does she!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Freddy's breathing got bad last night and Henry was miserable yesterday so we went to the doctor this morning. Freddy was wheezing a lot so he gets two different steroids in his nebulizer plus an antibiotic to make sure he doesn't get pneumonia. Henry has at least one ear infected. His other ear had a lot of wax and he was not being cooperative so she didn't get a good look at it. He gets antibiotics. I sincerely hope next week's vacation from school gives us a chance to get healthy!

Freddy is working on writing his name on all 20 of the Valentine's for his class.

Henry's new food love is orange slices. He will eat a whole orange in one sitting. Hooray for a new healthy food for him!

Today at preschool Freddy is having a tea party. He is dressed up in a button down shirt and vest and he looks super handsome. He is at the "noooo! Don't take a picture of me" stage, so you only get this picture of him hiding in his coat.

In other news, my prediction was right. Henry has a fever and a cough today. :/ Freddy has been coughing a bit all week, but maybe for once he will not get the worst of it. Also, Lucy went to school yesterday but she is back at home today. If she is just sitting calmly and not talking a lot (haha!) then she is fine, otherwise she has a huge coughing fit.

A new round of illness has hit our house. Lucy has a fever and a cough, I expect the boys to fall as the week progresses. :(
In good news, Henry went to the eye doctor today and his eyes look perfect. Also, last week we went to Freddy's parent teacher conference and he is doing wonderfully at school! He has lots of friends, he listens and follows directions (at school NOT at home), and his literacy is progressing well (he is recognizing letters, his writing is coming along, and he understands that letters go together to make words). Practically perfect in every way. :)

Big kids started swim lessons today and Dave is keeping Henry. I am taking this rare opportunity to work on my knitting. Someday, far in the future, this will be a sweater for me. :)

Lucy and I performed a very dangerous operation this afternoon. This vicious shark had a gaping wound on his head and we had to give him some stitches. ;)
