Helping Granny with some yard work.

Our house is officialy being built now!!!!! This is the concrete being poured for the footers. The blocks for the basement walls will sit on top of these footers. We shoukd be stacking blocks early next week! Our house is going up!!!!!!!

Working on our new house is a family affair. But let me tell you , a building site is NOT baby safe! Freddy fell on the gravel twice already and he is now throwing the gravel.

Farming can be good too. We picked these berries from the hundreds of raspberry bushes growing wild in our hedge rows. We only got a small bowl this time because we had to wrestle the weeds and we ate a bunch already. :)
Happy Independence Day!!

Today we tie-dyed with Linda, Grace, and Kasey at Ganny and Poppa's house. The kids had the best time! Freddy rode around with Poppa all morning. I'm not sure which one was having more fun. :) This year Lucy is big enough so she helped with the dying. She did a few things, but most exciting is she made a shirt for Molly! :) Tomorrow we get to unwrap these ones. Then Kim is coming and we are going go try out the special tie-dye kit that Julie gave me for Christmas. An exciting, crafty 4th of July!
