Freddy came down with a cold over Thanksgiving. By Saturday he was coughing pretty hard so we decided to take him in to the doctor. Well he was much sicker than anybody thought. He has a double ear infection and his chest was very tight, congested and wheezy. Also he was broken out all over with excema. :( My poor boy! They checked his oxygen and it was 100% which was great so she did not send us to the ER. I had absolutely no idea that he was that sick! They gave him a nebulizer treatment at the office (which is what the picture is of). We were sent home with instructions to do nebulizer treatments at home, a prescription for antibiotics and prednisone, and instructions to put hydrocortisone anywhere he is red, which is all over. Today we went back and he is better but still a bit wheezy. :( He is getting back to his normal self though and he played hard this afternoon, crawling
after Lucy everywhere that she went. He loves to do whatever she is doing. :)

I should be...

doing dishes, playing with Freddy, giving the dog a bath, working on Christmas projects, etc. but I am going to try to type fast instead. :) Freddy said his first word! Well, he has been saying "dada" for a while but this morning he was definitely using it correctly. He was looking right at Dave and saying it, and then when Dave left the room he looked at the doorway and said it again. Why do they always say 'dada' first? Not fair!!

Lucy is playing some made up card game and told me it isnt appropriate to do too many at once. She said appropriate!!! and used it correctly!!!!!

Isn't she such a nice big sister to share with her brother. :) I have to go wash his sticky face and more closely supervise lollipop eating.
